1st July 2016.
I was submerged under water and baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I finally made the plunge. However, I’ve noticed a few things. Since that day, it’s as if my relationship with God has grown stronger. Whilst adjusting to these changes, I was reading Isaiah one night and came across these verses:
Isaiah chapter 43 verse 18-19
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
The way God works always blows my mind, but I realised that this change came in the package with giving my life to Christ. I’m seeing things with a new perspective, seeking new opportunities in life, letting go of things that drag me down and keeping my focus on God.
There has currently been a lot of change in my life, but in situations like these, the enemy is trying to keep you away from God because he can see your potential. God should be the priority more that ever.
These changes are necessary. Keep praying and trusting God.
