To someone who doesn’t have curly, coily or kinky hair, this question might sound preposterous.
‘Tiff your hair will get matted!’
Honestly, I’ve had enough of my comb. We used to have such a great relationship… until my hair got longer :(. Finger detangling has become my best friend! Who knew I didn’t have to resort to a tool to detangle my hair. Finger detangling allows you to handle your hair with the utmost care, since you can feel the tangles as you gently comb your fingers through your hair. I tend to do this in the shower, using the running water to help comb out the tangles. When I come out of the shower, my hair is tangle-free, and ready to be styled.
Although finger detangling has become part of my routine, I have not complete abandoned my wide tooth comb and my other hair tools. When I come out of the shower, I use my Denman brush to further detangle my hair (once or twice) before I twist. This is a big step from the number of times I previously passed my wide tooth comb and Tangle Teezer through my hair just to get the same results. The shed hair is minimal and everyone is happy!
